about

This song was inspired by Winter on The Isle of Lismore.

In each verse Mango Lassie describes some of the wildlife, landscape, and ancient ruins she witnessed and explored during her first trip to the island, which then became her home. The chorus repeats “see you when I see you” which is not only a reflection of the spontaneous nature of wild life spotting but also relates to the breakdown of a long-term relationship and a response to the process of readjusting to no longer seeing someone that you're used to seeing all the time.
